Q. Why is the VacuShape so effective in burning fat? Whilst walking in the VacuShape under a low atmospheric pressure, the walker is both exercising the muscles, and increasing the blood supply and circulation to the cellulite in fat prone areas of the lower body. The increased supply of blood, nutrition and oxygen to the lower body, while exercising the muscles, results in higher metabolism, cell activity and faster fat burning.
Q. What happens inside the VacuShape? The VacuShape operates just like a normal treadmill, except that the walker is covered by a chamber from the waist down. The chamber's special feature is the vacuum system that creates the low atmospheric pressure. The lower parts of the body that are inside the vacuum chamber experience increased blood circulation and an increase in temperature as the workout continues. The blood is pulled into both the skin and fat layers by the vacuum and the walking action. This permits concentrated fat burning to take place in precisely the cellulite and fat prone areas of the hips, thighs and buttocks.
Q. How long is VacuShape session? Each session lasts for only 30 minutes, but this is sufficient. Under normal circumstances fat is burned in muscles only after 20-30 minutes of exercise. In the VacuShape this time is decreased by one third.
Q. What should I wear? Sports pant or shorts and sport shoes.
Q. Who can use the VacuShape? Anyone over 18 years of age. A short consultation is required to ensure that you have no contraindications.
Q. How soon will I notice results? Generally after 12 sessions.
Q. Do I have to train hard in the VacuShape within this timeframe? No, training under pressure is designed to be undemanding.
Q. How often should I exercise in the VacuShape? In the beginning we recommend 2-3 training sessions per week for a period of eight weeks. You may then decide to continue with further fat breakdown at the same intensity or to stabilise your achieved result with one training session per week.
Q. What effects and results can I expect using the VacuShape? Scientific tests have proven that women lose three times more on their thighs, using the VacuShape, than using normal fat-burning training. Using the VacuShape, even women with a persistent fat build-up, who are naturally prone to fat accumulation, lose at least 1 centimetre circumference per kilogram of weight-loss per thigh. Without VacuShape these women would lose a maximum of only 0.3 to 0.5 centimetres per thigh per kilogram of weight loss. For women who store excess water, these results can be more than doubled. In simple terms, regular use of the VacuShape results in an average fat reduction of one trouser size per month.

CLINICAL TRIALS The VacuShape has undergone long-term testing at the Clinic of Sports Medicine in Slovakia. Several groups of people of varying ages, fitness levels, and differing percentages of body fat were monitored. Participants underwent an anthropometric examination. The results of the tests clearly indicate that the consumption of oxygen, expenditure of energy and oxygen ventilation increase whilst exercising in a reduced atmospheric pressure.
Energy expenditure increases by up to 50% in comparison with walking on the treadmill without the use of the vacuum. Fat starts to be burnt sooner and muscle fatigue is not observed as soon because lactic acid, which develops in the muscles during exertion, is removed and metabolised much faster. TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
• Before exercising in the VacuShape eat carbohydrates (rice, potatoes, pasta or muesli). • After exercising eat proteins (fish, meat, poultry or tofu, for example, with vegetables). • Try to drink approximately 3-4 litres of liquid a day. • It is not necessary to start a diet. If you follow the above mentioned recommendations your body will have sufficient energy reserves and the fat burning will then become more efficient. • After exercising in the VacuShape we do not recommend clients visit solariums, saunas or practise any kinds of sports which are demanding on the legs.
